I had the pleasure of working with Jeremy back when we were both associated with Xerox. IT support can be a tough business, often seen as simplistic, reactive and purely transaction based. The best rise above this, and Jeremy is one of them. He stands out because of his ease with setting and communicating expectations with his clients, resolving their challenges, driving productivity and always looking at improving the process along the way. This, along with his calm, friendly demeanour, sense of humour and easy-going nature sets him up as a shining example for professionalism when it comes to tech support

 

Jeremy was a major force in the data centre floor planning for a major Client account. He became a trusted contact for many projects he was assigned. It was a pleasure to work with Jeremy over the span of several years. I would highly recommend Jeremy for any future positions. Jeremy came to my team via an internal restructuring in November of 2011. He made a great first impression with his professionalism, openness and positive attitude. He was excited to be in a new role and very eager to learn about the facilities and data center management. Jeremy jumped right in and got involved in all aspects of our scope of work including materials procurement, inventory management, hardware planning, equipment installations, onsite project support and software updates. He quickly became a trusted onsite contact for many PMs, account reps and customers who would go to him when they needed information or tasks done quickly and accurately. He always maintained his positive attitude and professionalism regardless of the work and pressures of the day. It’s been over 20 years ago since I had the good fortune of meeting Jeremy. We were work colleagues who shared common views on what it means to be a good person and valued employee. In this hectic pace we are forced to operate in on a daily basis as we struggle to meet multiple conflicting timelines and priorities it is hard sometimes just to STOP and say THANKS!! With this in mind I just wanted to STOP, breath and take the time to recognise Jeremy for his efforts in supporting the account over the years and to just say THANKS publicly!!
